The Shambles Holiday Cottage
Welcome
Set in the heart of the beautiful Peak District, Longnor has an old fashioned charm that has to be experienced to be appreciated. Once a bustling market centre, this quaint cobbled village has retained many of its original charms including ' The Horseshoe Inn' dating back to 1609, and Bartholomews church which was first recorded on the present site in 1233 AD.
Although many of the original buildings are still visible within the village, in fact some of you will recognise it from Peak Practice, it now has a much more relaxed atmosphere, suited to walkers, families or couples wishing for a perfect romantic break.
The Shambles

Whatever your reason for staying at The Shambles, you can be assured that Jason and Nicola will do everything that they can do to make your time there special and memorable.
